Happy Dogs is a great alternative to putting your dog or dogs into kennels when you are away from home be it a long weekend or annual holiday. We offer a child free, loving home from home for your dog(s), where they will be fed, walked and fussed over whilst being looked after in our home and treated as part of the family.
Just like home, they have the run of our house and garden, sleep in their own beds, curl up on the sofa with us in the evening and play with their favourite toys.
We are based in the lovely seaside town of Clevedon, we have some lovely walks right on our doorstep, we regularly take our dogs along the sea wall and on our local riverbank which takes in beautiful scenery, wildlife and some lovely sniffing opportunities for your dog. We actively encourage your dog to sniff whilst out as a lovely form of enrichment for them.
Prior to boarding, we will arrange for you and your dog to visit us at home to meet with the family and residential dogs. We will discuss your dog’s needs, learning their routine and behaviour. It is important to ensure that your dog will be compatible with us and our dogs. The “meet and greet” session also allows your dog to familiarise itself with the environment and avoids stress when they come to stay.
We live in Clevedon in our 3 bed semi, our back garden is private and totally secure with 6 foot fencing all around, we do not have any access other than via the house so your dog or dogs are safe and secure at all times. During the warmer weather the back door is always open for the dogs to come in and out, the garden is North facing so there is always shade to be found in our garden.
